While gates are individually priced, there are additional costs involved before a gate becomes an entrance way.
Custom sizing and timbers, paint or other finishes all impact on a final price. Hardware, posts, caps and
installation are other factors to take into account. |

A typical set of driveway gates spanning 3 metres, built in H3 pine and painted Wooden Gates White, with a
standard set of hardware (hinges and latches) will cost on average NZ$2,000+gst ex factory. Additional costs
would be posts and caps, delivery and installation. |

| The type of installation can also vary greatly. Sliding gates require more hardware and
higher installation costs, upward swinging gates for high slope drives often need custom
hardware. Simply put, the greater the complexity the greater the price. |
